Day 2

Atakule to Kızılay, Ankara
Experiences with Zenit11
(aka The Other Kalashnikov Soviets made)
Terrace of Atakule, I had to choose if I wanted to have the sky or the stairs and people in the shot. I guess I chose well.
Kuğulu Park. She used to smoke rarely, now she can't since the "prices flew up"
Atatürk Boulvard. I loved those sweaters
Atatürk Boulvard, Sexual Therapy Education Book in the hands of a conservative Muslim woman, carrying it with pride.
Bridge over troubled wa.. Meşrutiyet Caddesi. Flawed symmetry with distractions
Kızılay Metro Station, Meşrutiyet Entrance
Ankaray Metro (can be directly translated as Ankarails I guess) It's a great joy to walk throught it's route
Ziya Gökalp St. That Spanish Gal I know from BIO110, she cares meaninglessly a lot for that course.
Counting game continues, I was hoping a lot from some of these shots. It apperared that they wanted to unite forces.
Day 2, my mind didn't change about my prejudice. Somehow the old guy started to annoy me as it makes horizontal lines on photos. At least they're nearly centred so on vertical photos if I'd ever wanted to symetrical shots and by chance it occurs, the photo may look a bit cool. Also on the early hours of the day I bought a 28 mm wide lens for the Kalashnikov and used it for the rest of the day instead of the 58mm default lens it had.

Previously on my Zenit Experiences

Day 1, a couple weeks ago, I got my first film camera, a Zenit11 lying sick and tired, as a gift. I fixed some issues it had then did my first shooting with the old "Kalashnikov". Although it has it's own joy I still had my prejudice against film cameras, film is dead. There's no meaning forcing it yet you still can have your time with good ol' memories.
